MemberGate, the software that helps us run the Cabin Stuff site, has added several new features that we'll be introducing this month.

They include

• a 'member profile' social networking feature (like FaceBook, MySpace, LinkedIn, Twitter, Classmates) to make it easier to connect with your cabin friends. It allows you to post your profile information, submit photos, create mini-blog posts, and leave notes for your cabin friends. Click here to set up your profile now.
• the most popular 'social bookmarking tags' on content pages. The tags allow you to help spread the word about what you're finding most useful and interesting on the site.
• a 'review and ratings' feature on content pages. It allows you to leave comments as well as rate articles on the site and to comment on comments left by other members.
• a new 'forum' layout. It allows you to have an avatar photo that identifies your posts and it will recognize you for the number of forum posts you've made and how long you've been posting.
• 'forum links to YouTube videos' on the new forum pages. They allow you to paste YouTube links into your forum posts.

Watch for the new features to appear.
